NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN JUDGES ACCESS TO JUSTICE HOUSTON SCHOLARSHIPS – FALL 2023

The National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ) is pleased to announce the NAWJ Access to Justice Houston
Scholarships. Six scholarships will be given to law students who have demonstrated a sustained and
demonstrated commitment to the advancement of diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and access to justice.
Two students from each of the three local Houston law schools—South Texas College of Law, Thurgood Marshall
School of Law, and University of Houston Law Center—will be selected for these six scholarships, in the amount
of $1,000 each. Scholarships will be presented to the recipients during the NAWJ Houston Color of Justice
Program on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Recipients must attend this event to be eligible
for the scholarships.
