The Joel White Scholarship

The Joel White Scholarship created by the FOI Foundation of Texas will be awarded to a law school student in Texas. The amount is $1,000. The deadline to apply for the 2023-24 scholarship is Feb. 10, 2023. This scholarship honors our late board president, Joel White, who was a First Amendment and open government champion and for many years practiced law in Houston and Austin. Please help spread the word to those attending law school next fall.
