Teresa L. Herbert Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2022 by Susan Mitchell in honor of her daughter, Teresa L. Herbert. Teresa was a South Texas College of Law Houston alumna, and was tragically killed in a car accident in 2000. Terri’s life fueled a drive and determination to succeed and included a passion for helping people. She never forgot her roots: raised in a single-income, single parent household, and she still accomplished her dreams through hard work while attending school, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. Preference is given to students who meet the following requirements: greatest financial need, and maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.
