Capt Kevin J. Barry USCG Endowed Scholarship

This award is established to recognize and honor South Texas College of Law Houston students
who display those same attributes of commitment to justice, advocacy for the voiceless, and
compassionate action on behalf of those in need. The purpose of this fund is to support students
at Law School through an annual award. Preference will be given to one student annually who
meets the following requirements:

1. Financial need; and
2. A display of those attributes that distinguished the career and life of CAPT Kevin J.
Barry, USCG, including commitment to justice, advocacy for the voiceless, and
compassionate action on behalf of those in need.
