2025 Fall Access to Justice Internship Program (ATJIP)
The Texas Access to Justice Commission launched the Internship Program to allow law students to gain firsthand experience of the daily operations of civil legal aid organizations across the state. This program aims to help bridge the justice gap by allowing students to learn about the civil legal needs in the community and the reasons many of those needs remain unmet. At the same time, interns provide valuable support to these organizations and the individuals they serve. Each prospective intern must contact their desired legal aid provider to secure placement and include the provider’s name and the supervising attorney on their application. We will need a Supervising Attorney Statement from the legal aid organization where you will perform the internship.
