Tax Executives Institute Scholarship

CRITERIA:

1. Must be interested in a career in taxation.
2. Must be scheduled to graduate in December 2023 or later.
3. Must have completed the introductory Federal Income Tax class.
4. Must be currently enrolled in or have completed at least one advanced tax course.
5. Must have a “B” average or greater in tax-related coursework and an overall “B” average or greater.
6. Must be either: (a) a full-time student, or (b) a part-time student who works full time in a corporate tax capacity at a company in the greater Houston area.
7. Demonstrate financial need.
8. Must not have previously been awarded this scholarship.

APPLICATION:
Applicants must provide the following:

1. Completed application for the TEI-Tax Scholarship linked below
2. Resume
3. Transcript (official not required—can print from STANLEY)
4. Two letters of recommendation, only one of which can be from a member of the scholarship selection committee.
5. Most recent financial aid award letter (official not required—can print from STANLEY)
